Great Expressions Dental Centers - Middletown

If I was able to give a zero star that would be what this place deserves. Starting with my daughter, she needed clearance for her braces, it took a while as they even said they didn't know her as a patient and I literally had to go there and do multiple calls to get it done. Then it was my husband's turn, changing appointments whenever they feel like and canceled whenever they want. Then it was my turn. The worst. I was scheduled for cleaning, they made me wait over 2 hours in the room then telling me the hygienist is not back from lunch, I rescheduled because I had other appointments, then they called me again to reschedule, and then canceled my appointment the day I was going there saying I did not call back with verbal confirmation while they kept calling me at work and I only listened to the voice on weekend. Then I asked them. Why you did not send me that reminder on email and text messages as well? You kept calling me when I am working and assumed I listened to the voice message And I called to confirm the morning of my appointment and no one ever answered phone. So you can let me seat 2 hours while who knows where the hygienist is. Then reschedule as you wish, and cancel again, then reschedule again. And canceled because you are assuming that I will not call. So I asked them, what If I did not have a voice-mail box, how would you remind me? What about all the inconvenience my family went through because you are not organized and can't get it together? That doesn't count. So my advice, if you're looking for a professional place where people know what they are doing and are accountable for their mistakes, don't go to this place, they will blame all their mistakes on you and keep singing the policy song in your ears like parrots. On top of it, they are rude and don't listen.

I am so grateful to Dr. Kass and his team. I called on the weekend and left a message and received a call at 8 AM the following Monday morning. They got me in in less than two hours for an emergency extraction. And I was in horrible pain and very anxious about the procedure… When I arrived, Alexis, at the front desk helped me out immensely as I had forgotten to bring my referral from my dentist. She told me not to worry, and she took care of it in less than five minutes. I was shocked: I had never had such a great service at the dentist office in my life! During the procedure the staff made sure that I was more than comfortable and even gave me a stress relief ball which believe me they help! I had terrible pain afterwards, but I gave them a call and they were able to help me control/minimize the pain. I decided to switch dentist and they are the new place that I will be going. Thank you Great expressions for such a timely, quick and caring experience. I would recommend anyone to go here!

I've never experienced this kind of service . I wish I never wasted my time here . The staff is insanely rude and forget about anyone picking up the phone they never do . They don't call u to reschedule a missed appt nor an appt reminder of any kind . I called everyday for a week left messages and ` no one got it ` . The front desk girl says she's the only staff they have and is so backed up with no help . What kind of service only relies on 1 person to get everything done ? This place is ridiculous. The dentist himself barely does anything for kids clean up service literally nothing just makes them smile to check . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR YOUR FAMILIES TIME .

My son had an appointment scheduled for January 3rd. I scheduled this appointment 3 months ahead. Upon arrival to his appointment I have been informed the dental hygienist left. They said they have noted in the acccount someone reached out. However, I have no missed calls or voicemails from the office. Be careful when scheduling appointments. I left work early to attend to this appointment.

They changed my appointment without notifying me. When I arrived she rudely told me I was 30 mins late and would not see my child. When I was actually early for my appointment. She made me make a new appointment over 2 months away and would put me on the wait list. I tried explaining the card that they gave to me the last time I was there has a different time. Which is the time I put on my calendar. She explained that when she called she verified the appointment for 10:40. I never thought I would have to check the time they initially gave me to what they verify on the phone. It's very unprofessional that they change your appointment time without notification. Six months ago both of my children had an appointment for cleanings. Due to work we got there 10 mins late. They made us reschedule both kids appointments. I understand it can hold them up and other appointments but you would think they would at least take one of the kids in. After going there for 10 years and being a little late for one appointment in over 10 years. I would think they would be a little more understanding. It's very frustrating how unreasonable they are.

First things first, the doctor that did my extractions was the best. No pain, only took 20 mins for the whole process and I left with a smile on my face. On the other hand, the lady at the front desk named Victoria was quick to deny what I had to say. She knew I had just got my wisdom teeth taken out and ofc I’m going to have gauze in my mouth. So keep saying, “what, huh” making a face after everything I said wasn’t cute. On top of that, every insurance is different. Not all insurance cards are going to be the same. If I say that my insurance doesn’t have a dental card then they don’t have a dental card. If I called and confirmed with the insurance company myself, asking if there was one and being told that there wouldn’t be and that everything is all on one card. Then don’t cut me off acting like you know everything and tell me, “no, this is not the information. You need the dental group number..etc.”. You should have contacted the insurance company yourself. Sure I’m going to pay this first and final bill because you failed to put in the information twice. Another patient lost due to a so called front desk representative. P.s. everyone else I had encountered was very nice though.
